Everrati Automotive Limited, the UK-based company updating classic-car icons with electric vehicle (EV) powertrains, today announced a partnership with Aria Group, experts in low-volume specialist manufacturing and composites, to meet surging U.S. demand for the electric Porsche 911 redefined by Everrati. Irvine, CA-based Aria Group’s expertise and state-of-the-art manufacturing and composites facility enable Everrati to take advantage of customer proximity to accelerate delivery times and meet U.S. demand.
“Demand for our electrified icons, such as the Signature edition—based on the Porsche 911 (964)—is surging globally, but particularly in California where our customer base of sustainability-conscious Millennials and Gen-Z’s is growing very quickly indeed,” said Justin Lunny, Founder & CEO, Everrati Automotive Limited. “These discerning buyers want the look of an icon but would never consider ICE. For them, EV is the only way to go. The build of our first car in Irvine is already well underway and I cannot wait to deliver it to our Californian customer in the coming months.”
Aria’s expertise in low-volume, high-end vehicle engineering and manufacturing is already supporting leading OEMs and “reimagination” specialists. Having experience creating vehicles for Singer Vehicle Design, with its restored and modified existing Porsche automobiles, and Radford Motors, with its Lotus Type 62-2, Everrati says it is a natural partner for its discerning customers.
“Over many years, Aria Group has garnered a reputation as a leader in the low-volume, high-end vehicle engineering and manufacturing space,” added Clive Hawkins, President and CEO of Aria Group. “Everrati’s products, such as the redefined Porsche 911 (964), set new standards for electrified iconic vehicles and we are excited to be playing a key role in the company’s expansion into the US market.”
Today’s announcement follows the recent establishment of Everrati North America in Calabasas, CA, which followed the commencement and growth of revenue from the U.S. The announcement also coincided with Everrati’s partnership with Superformance, a U.S.-based manufacturer of 1960s-era continuation component sports cars like its electrified version of the legend GT40.
To help develop Everrati’s global presence, two new appointments were also made to the company’s senior leadership team. Amit Chandarana, the company’s Strategic Advisor, will support the launch of Everrati’s U.S. operations, building the company’s sales and marketing platforms and client-facing presence in the region. David Warren joined the Everrati leadership team as a Board Advisor to help develop Everrati’s future brand partnerships with sustainability at their core.
For its classic updating, Everrati uses in-house-developed OEM-standard powertrains combining technology from the top Tier 1 automotive suppliers and its own in-house expertise for a range of unique, driver-focused models available in most major markets. The company aims to preserve the original “feel” and character of its redefined icons, with the transformation to electric power also involving the optimization of weight distribution, chassis response, and safety to enhance the performance of the original.
Its electric icons appeal to a diverse international audience, with surging demand being led by sustainability-conscious millennials and Gen-Z buyers who the company says demand iconic cars from the 1980s and 1990s with EV power over internal combustion engines. Everrati says its buyers are also traditional car collectors with a passion for the latest in automotive technology.
The 964-based 911 redefined by Everrati range consists of a coupe, targa, and cabriolet in narrow-body, wide-body, and officially licensed Gulf Editions. Its flagship Signature wide-body model, which features a 500-bhp (373-kW), 500-N·m (369-lb·ft) EV powertrain with a high-power battery pack, is capable of delivering an electric driving range of up to 200 mi (322 km) and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in less than 4 s.
In September, Everrati debuted its Gulf Signature edition at the Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance in the Oxfordshire countryside of the UK. Featuring carbon-fiber body elements, the car’s power delivery is optimized and coupled to a 53-kW·h battery pack and advanced battery management system. As part of Everrati’s partnership with Gulf International, it gets the famous orange and blue race car livery.
In addition to the 911, Everrati’s current line-up of models includes electrified versions of the Land Rover Series IIA, GT40 in partnership with Superformance, including officially licensed Gulf Edition, and Mercedes-Benz W113 SL “Pagoda.”
