IndyCar goes hybrid-electric with energy recovery system

Honda Racing—with the help of Skeleton, Empel, Ilmor, BrightLoop Converters, and McLaren Applied—is supplying the system, which adds about 60 hp and 45 N·m, that debuts in the NTT IndyCar Series beginning with the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio this weekend.
